T. A. F. F. They are not hard to find - the people who can tell you about T.A.F.F. Try the bar and you'll probably find Ron Bennett - he's the one who is talking the most; but he will be glad to stop and explain about T.A.F.F., he was the delegate for 1958. Look for a tall, thin man, wearing-glasses who speaks with an American accent -- that will be Wally Weber, this year's delegate, who will beamingly tell you, Taff is a Good Thing. Perhaps those two have gone out to the Chinese Restuarant. Well, there's Ken Bulmer who was the delegate in 1956 (and. the first to go to America). He can tell you at first hand of T.A.F.F's beginnings. There are two others you can grab - Phil Rogers or Arthur (ATom) Thomson, who are the two candidates in the current campaign. They may be too modest to be actually carrying T.A.F.F. voting forms... but they will certainly be able to tell you what it's all about and where the voting forms can be found. Now, if you can't find any of that lot, then try Ethel Lindsay. She is the one in the convention hall with the harried expression who will at once explain to you why the programme is not on time and who will be vastly relieved to hear that it's only T.A.F.F. you want to talk about. She can also point out to you her friend, Frances Varley, who is selling copies of The Lindsay Report and who will take orders for all the other reports written and published by former delegates. One and all they will tell you .........
