UK CONVENTION BEERMATSAn obvious promotional item, but I think I'm right in saying that only the NOVACON 16 beermat was used that way, making its first appearance at the previous Eastercon. Subsequently they were used only at the cons named on them.There were almost certainly more.

1986: NOVACON 16 
Believed to be the first UK convention beermat (first anywhere?). Thereafter, the Birmingham Group produced an undated beermat that could be used at multiple Novacons.
