SCIENCE FICTION NEWS was the newsletter of the UK's Science Fiction Book Club (SFBC).
It was printed on a single sheet folded in three to give six pages, sometimes with an
advertising insert such as the one for 'Sands of Mars' included below. This particular
issue was preserved by Peter Weston. When you read it you'll see why.
Pete Weston was 16 years old at the time and wouldn't publish his first fanzine until 1963, so this was presumably his first time in print in an SF context. For more on this see here. Also:
