NOVA PUBLICATIONS - LETTERHEADS

Adding a final little bit of extra detail we have some official stationery. Which, of course, tells its own tale....

1. The very first letterhead, taken from a letter dated 1st January 1949.

2. Date unknown. Note addition of Les Flood to the list of directors.

3. The 1952 Fantasy Book Centre catalogue (see below) reports that the shop has moved up up the road, which meant the Nova publications office had too. On the new letterhead, Walter Gillings has gone.

By CORONCON, the 1953 UK national convention held in May, Fantasy Book Centre has opened a secomd branch at 10 Sicilian Avenue, very close to the con hotel. Proprietor Frank Cooper takes out a full page ad in the Programme Book assuring members that the shop will remain open and fully staffed for the duration.

4. Post reorganisation, 1954. Only three original Nova directors remain.
