THE LãSFãS MONSTER

 Among the Liverpool group photos Peter Weston passed on to me were those contained in an envelope labelled 'Our Monster'. Constructed in the workshop of Bebington Studios - ie. Norman Shorrock's garage - the completed monster was then photographed in nearby Bebington Woods. It's unknown which planned Mersey and Deeside film production of the late 1950s it was intended for but, as can be seen from those photos, the monster was no worse than some that would be seen on Doctor Who in the next couple of decades.
