Thor v Superman:
This is a drawing I never finished, presented here because it shows the
amount of pencil underdrawing I would typically do. A lot of artists start off
with stick-figures and develop the body shape around those but I always
went straight to this stage. Being undisciplined and self-taught, I was
as likely to start a figure drawing with a shoulder, a hand, or a foot as
with a head. This is the level at which you work
out the problems before applying any ink and is IMHO the level at which
the real drawing occurs.
